Halfords/Clarks Rapid Links.........any good ??

I went in to Halfords today to purchase KMC rapid links. They weren't in stock but the guy offered me what I assume is thier own brand......Clarks and told me Halfords fit them as standard on broken chains. So.....
KMC ...............£5.50 for 2
Clarks..............£2.99 for 2
Wipperman......£5.50 each.
I know you often (not always) get what you pay for but a) I'm ignorant on these &
b) they look pretty similar on my computer.

Any thoughts on it

Clarks aren't a Halfords own brand. I'd be interested in opinions about them too at that price.

fwiw - Clarks have always worked fine for me. But I'm a cheapskate. Who resents buying more expensive Shimano chains, only to find I have to make a repeat trip to Halfords to buy the links that were NOT included in the pack!

I have a couple of Clarks ones as my emergency spares. Hope they are okay as I may have to rely on them at some point.

Not tried their quick links but if their chains are anything to go by, I'd avoid them!

That's the 10 speed. I quoted the 9 speed. Not sure what the OP is after.

Suspect the links are all of the same quality.
Clarks products are usually o.k.

The clark links are fine - I have a few bikes and use them on all of them without issues
