Halfords Rear Low Mount 2-Bike Bike Rack for a EMTB

The bike rack says 15kg each bike 2 bikes, 30kg max weight.

The EMTB im considering is 24kg, if i also took the battery out would this rack be ok?

I know a towbar or other more expensive options would be best but i already have this rack and cant see why it wont be ok

Do not use that rack. The weight limit is for safety, and your e-bike is way too heavy, even without the battery. The rack could fail on the road. You need a rack rated for an e-bike's weight.
