Hammerhead - a new approach to cycle GPS?

The video won't play for me (blocked by IT) but what is wrong with the 'old' approach to gps navigation? It appears a solution looking for a problem to me.

So if I am understanding this correctly, I could display Garmin data too! All I would need is a Garmin, a Garmin mount, a hammerhead, another mount and my cell phone and I would be all set. :rolleyes:

I read it as Android and IOS.

Apparently it knows when there is a log in the road.....

People seem to back anything and everything on those websites!

It does look interesting. There are a few companies that are producing cheap mounts for Garmin devises.
I'll be interested to see future feedback from customers.

I was guessing someone had previously flagged that location as hazardous.
I think it looks fantastic and for about 45 pound it's cheaper than a satnav as i already have a smartphone.

If I were to go on a 200 mile ride would I need my smart phone to be running the app burning all it's juice or is it set log out & forget?
