Handbag pannier?

My girlfiend is after a handbag style bag that is designed to attach to a rack but is also passable/useful as a reasonable looking handbag (not too big). Any recommendations? She like the vaude 'eva's bag' but it only attaches to handlebars, not rear rack.

The holes are in the wrong places and the handbag will probably be too short to take a rail / pannier rack mounting.

Another option would be a seatpost mounting for the present fitting

This lookes pretty stylish to me:

At 10 litres it looks like a sensible size. The only trouble is that the pannier fixings on the back don't really make sense for a 'handbag'.

Ideal might be a saddle bag with a shoulder strap?

Either that or a stylish backpack/courier bag?

Or put the bag into a basket - or bungee it to the top of the rack?
