That's it.... I'm sulking!

I had an off at fairly low speed last night on the rain soaked, grease laden Coton cycle path near Cambridge last night. Two big holes in my left elbow. one on my left knee and a sore rib where the brake hood got me.

The annoying thing is that tomorrow evening I am driving to Slovenia for a week kayaking the river Soca. Hopefully my poor 44 year old body can stand all of this.

Who sells blingy carbon stabilisers?

It certainly hurts even at low speed had a similar one a few months back on a wet\greasy road ended up lying in the middle of the road after the bike just disappeared from underneath. I also ended up with elbow and knee holes some road rash and a dislocated finger which smarted for the next 20 miles cycling home.

Just had a look on the Halfords website, and yes the still do Bike Stabilisers

On a serious note, I do hope your ok, I fell off my bike a couple of months ago(back tyre got stuck in the tram track and me and the bike went separate ways)

Hope you have a good holiday

three wheels on my wagon

I don't half miss my trikes, I once got so blathered that I managed to fall off 3 times before I got out the pub car park, there was a 25 mile ride home after that. Oh happy days.
I used to offer my trike for free to any cyclist that could ride it round the car park perimeter at the start of reliability runs and the like. Not one ever took it off me they are a bugger to ride once you have moved on to 2 wheels.

I wouldn't know as I haven't rode a 3 wheeler since I was about 5 but I wouldn't mind something like that one in the picture.
