Hard Drive HELP

I'm wondering whether the problem was caused by the USB disconnecting incorrectly. I've found sometimes that a USB drive that could not be connected in Windows was corrected by being mounted/unmounted in Linux.

That's possible as the machine just crashed so no time for the USB to disconnect correctly. I've just had a message saying that the drive recycle bin is corrupted. Not something I would normally check.....

Hmm, Windows updates causing issues ? Any chance ?

Having a mare with my lads gaming rig crashing out when you start games. All happened after recent updates/nvidia driver updates. Spent hours removing drivers and re-installing.
