I don't know how true it is but I've heard that the good old master Harry Hall has recently died, has anybody any further info on this. He was the mechanic guru who is also a legend in Manchester retail circles....

Incidentally there is a mention on the other forum b*ke - r*dar.

Read it on Bike Biz too - sad news, his shop is something of a Manchester icon.

I used to drool over a pink/purple fade Klein Attitude that he had in the corn exchange shop for about 2 years. In a big way that shop got me into cycling proper.

Is it true he was Tommy Simpson's mechanic?!?

    RIP Harry Hall.
