My activities are public. I don't have any details about me or my equipment uploaded. I don't have a heatmap.

yes - that's fine but based on your speed and distance someone clever could work out whetehr you are likely to have a good bike or not

and if they can see your ride then they could work out roughly where you live
fairly unlikely to be exact if you live on a large estate of houses

if you live in the country then they could get more precise

and then they might think breaking unto your shed/garage/stables might be worth while

Having said that, there were a few words in all that imply they can think

and thieves looking for a single bike are just not that clever

You sure of that?
I mean even if I was riding a super duper Pinarello I kinda doubt that I'd go fast enough to interest the bad guys.
