I've been in plaster for 3 days, and only got back out on the bike today...;)

Proof...and yes, I know I'm on the pavement, but I had only just got on when that pic was taken. Once I was happy it was ok, then I went on the road.

(pic deleted...)

After that, I got out the mtb, and went off for a ride on that..
Tomorrow it'll be the Bianchi...:thumbsup:

I think I win the bet, large plastering lady who said that I couldn't ride with this on...hahahaha!

Nothing keeps our badkitty in a corner.

FWIW I used to ride my bike in a pot in the 70's.

Woo, that's a big grin but not as big as that plaster. Are you sure you didn't break it. Well done you, just go easy.

Lol! It's fine, honestly! My consultant said it would be ok, as long as I could actually do it.
It was only the very large plastering person who told me I couldn't, because I wouldn't be able to feel the pedals through the plaster. When I pointed out that I can't anyway, because of my condition,she shut up.
And I trust the guy who spent hours working on my ankles and knows how things work there more than I trust her.
So chill folks! It's fine. As I discussed with Mr Consultant, it's better that I'm happy and doing things rather than miserable and doing nothing - I'll heal better.
If he's happy that I can cycle, then that's good enough for me.

But thanks for caring...:evil::biggrin:

I do wonder if doctors know how quickly some cyclists will try to get back on a bike... I checked with multiple docs and they all seemed to say it was OK whenever I felt up to getting back on the bike. So I did within a week of breaking my arm.

Separate question - is that a Howies merino top - if so I have the same one... though I can't see the logo.
