Talking of photographs... no, not pictures but in my camera shop working life I sold things to Beth Gibbons (of the group Portishead), Tori Amos, Christopher Reeve before accident, was filming at Powderham Castle), and Martin Barre was a regular (Jethro Tull guitarist, has a studio nearby)
In my later repping job I had to be at the annual FOCUS exhibition at the NEC where I had chats with Lord Lichfield and David Bailey, catching sight of but not taking to Sharron Davies... she was a bit quick for me.
I have to admit that even after meeting all of these people I still couldn't do anything they did any better than them, so I left them to it.

Unless it's a head of state, I consider it impolite to take pictures of people like that in a personal setting, like a big game trophy. They get enough of that in public.

Hmmm, you could be onto something here a reality show that's actually entertaining but with a positive economic boost in these tough times. Maybe call it Celebrity Bounty and you collect your cash bounty by being pictured with one foot on the celebrity you've just killed.

Might be scope for a few spinoffs as well

Ok here goes. these are the ones I can remember, folk who I have actually spoken too as opposed to walk past or been in the same room as. Some are alive, some are dead, some you might have to Google thought they would've been well known in there day. Some are in prison or are possibly about to go to prison.

How much do I get for getting a picture when squashing one of the stars of 'Men In Black'?

Quite a few, many of them 'orrible creatures.
One of the most recent and on tv now is Edwina Currie, horrible self important woman. Very false and condesending, rather than shake her hand I wanted to blow my nose into it.
Met a Radio 2 presenter, forget his name....we all wanted to leave him in Basra alone, utter moron.
Duke of Westminster(not sure if he's famous), met him a few times. Once was only a week or so after he was outed by the red tops for visiting certain places. As a person he was a nice bloke.
Various football players around Mcr many nice many arseh*les.....Ballotelli's sister lives opposite my parents and visits often...my lads "play out" with his niece, nice guy.

:smooch:I met Toyah Wilcox a couple of times in Edinburgh (I've carried a torch for her since 1981).

I can understand why, she is quite gorgeous, but I have never met her.

I have met loads of (past and present) footballers though, especially from Everton and Liverpool living in the part of Merseyside that I do. Also met Sir Stanley Matthews at a sportsmans' dinner in 1986.

Met Carol Vorderman when I was a kid (about 20 odd years ago)...she presented me with a maths award and kissed me on the cheek! (I didn't have the nerve to tell her that I was a bit crap at maths but very good at finding the best person in school at maths to sit next to during the test!!! I won by one point because I couldn't see one of pages and had to guess the answer...it was correct and he got it wrong!!!)
