In all seriousness, I don't think I've ever stolen anything.
I did once accidentally steel a magazine from a motorway services. I'd tucked under my arm when I'd gone to the cash desk. I had my hands full with a bottle of water, maybe a sandwich, and my wallet etc. Put said water and sandwich on the desk and paid for them and left... mag still firmly clamped under my arm so I didn't drop it!

Mine was made from a piece of 6 x 1" with a roller skate, split in two, nailed to the bottom - the front corners of the plank were cut off for aerodynamics. Basic but functional....halcyon days.....
