He wants in my lane...

This muppet wanted to be in my lane. He really wanted to be in my lane. He wanted to be in my lane, but certainly not behind a cyclist! Oh no. Sure there is always a queue of traffic beyond the lights, but it is very, VERY important to get there 10 seconds earlier....oh and in front of the cyclist.

Tom did you hit his mirror as you went passed ?
I tend to do this with cars round our way that park on the cycle paths.

I think you need some of those wheels from that chariot in Ben Hur, that would make him change his mind.

It makes me extremely angry when a metal box owner decides to use their box as a weapon to bully their way past, unfortunately on a bike you have to begrudgingly yield.

Good you didn't stop.

Learning to appreciate errors of ORU's leads to enlightenment when out on the road.

Personally, I don't 'appreciate' the errors of other road users! ;)

My apologies.

..to appreciate that ORU's make errors..

 I was only playing with you!

To be fair though, I wouldn't class this as a mistake. He knew exactly where I was and where I was going. Even if he didn't he should have held back. This was entirely intentional, and if you asked him, I'd bet he would not admit any mistake.

Was he in your lane previously, and was that therefore an attempted overtake?

Or was it a last-minute lane change?

It was a last minute lane change. I think he just wanted to be in the shorter queue to make sure he got through the lights. I was just in his way.
