I'm just asking, because today (heading out into a massive headwind) I nearly gave up because the wind seemed to be taking out all the joy from the ride before I'd even gone three or four miles.

.
.In actual fact of course,on a windy day I ve always got the roads around the fells and its amazing just how much shelter you find in the little valleys.Sometimes, you can hear the wind rushing along the ridge above you, which of course you are about to climb up to!Much as I really enjoy windy days, for me its tail home for me.
