Hi im commuting to Kearsley so only around 5-6 miles.The old MTB fell apart as i didnt look after it one little bit,think my brother took it in the end.
I did try the C2W aproach with my boss but he wasn't even slighlty interested,Shame really.

That is a shame on both items lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody, took the new wheels out for a quick 5 miles this afternoon, certainly going to take some getting used to after only ever riding a big heavy mtb. Man it could shift, loved it :-)

Hi Ian, welcome to the forum. I am not far away form you in Bradley Fold, I go through Bury on my commute to work in Bredbury. There is plenty of good local riding, but most of it involves hills!
I went over to Hebden Bridge today and came back ocer Cragg Vale.

Crag Vale is a nice run.......especially down into Tod !

We went the other way, through Tod to Hebden Bridge and over Cragg, down Blackstone edge. I will be doing the reverse this weekend though, near the end of a 200km audax ride.
