Hey all!

I decided last year that switching from backpacking to bikepacking might be fun, despite not riding a bike in over a decade.

Instead of making good choices, I bought a 40 year old Peugeot and spent the winter learning how to rebuild it.

The result is an impractical but fun bike, a new obsession, and no friends with any interest in bikes. In fact, I'm under threat of losing friendships if I mention one more thing about a new part.

So I'm hoping I'll find my people here. Hi! I'm Laura.

Hi @ClementineCake, welcome.

Great decision and bonne chance. You will be able to find plenty of folk around here with any potential difficulties you come across offering their 'expertise' Some might be better than others!

Mapleleafland is a vast place, whereabouts are you? I am an expat from the Great White North.
