hello people, just stumbled upon this great site,

currently only peddle 15 mile a day, and booked in to do the coast to coast in may this year, so i need to get out a hell of a lot more time on my bike like. whitehaven to tynemouth shoud be a canny challenge like.

Hi Angry, good luck with the c2c. I get down to Sunderland a canny bit for rides and it's really going posh. Seaburn gots new seats and landscaping on the prom and cycle paths. If you're after a decent training run try theC2C upto Consett, tea and sausage and egg sarnie at Hownsgill Cafe (it's popular with cyclists and has bike stands)then downhill most of the way home.
