That's infuriating. I can't use the app at all and didn't even know the website name as it was Tapatalk that found the forum for me in the first place.. Pure luck that I'm here again..

Thanks for the information. I wonder if they will reinstall the Tapatalk bit...

You don't need it now, the software that Shaun has installed makes it so much easier. TBH i was getting fed up of the alerts on tapatalk as it was wasting battery time.

You had alerts? I must have switched mine off. I get an email - I have an iPhone 5  mind you I switch all alerts off except text and phone calls.. I just need a way to find this again - probably have to store as a bookmark..

Just log into cycle chat ticking the keep logged on box, You will see your alerts in the top right hand corner each time you open the page.

Hello, please do let me know where is your next cycling run and I will try to join you ;) I mostly cycle at the weekends, distance vary, anything from 20 to 70 miles. My favourite route is Dover-Canterbury-Whitstable-Herne Bay-Ramsgate-Sandwich and back to Dover. ;) Or Dover-Hythe, via Sandgate.

Hi Aga, I know it is a long time since you wrote this post but I wanted to ask what sort of bike you do the Whitstable -Ramsgate ride on and how you find the section. Do you take tha coastal sea wall of do you stay on the roads? I do this ride but on a mountain bike so don't worry too much about the sea wall route but I am getting a slightly more delicate bike soon with 25 mm tyres. This section is often strewn with pebbles and broken shells thrown up from the sea and I wondered if you (or anyone else) can advise about using a road oriented bike along there or should I stick to the road?

Cheers,

ssd
