Thanks for the suggestions, I was reading the Peak districts cycling page about all the different routes along the old rail ways. I'll try and persuade one my neighbors to come along rather than go solo for the first time. It would be horrid if I dropped my change and couldn't buy an Ale

Thanks Leaway, I've just signed up for the ride. Did my first 30k and averaged 24kph on Saturday so come October I should be good for a slower 33miles .
