Hello from Frimley Green

Hello all from a cloudy Frimley Green.

I've had a watershed weekend.

I have finally decided that at 38 I'm too old to continue running - after completing 2 marathons and countless other races in recent years I really enjoyed pounding the streets but a series of injuries since the start of the year have finished me off - cue depression .

Then I thought, why not try cycling - cue interest

Got the old Halfords MTB out of the garage and did 14 miles of country lanes this morning - LOVED IT.

Have just taken my dad's 10 year old Dawes Galaxy to the local bike shop for a full service and now I can't wait to get going properly - cue elation .
