Hi all,

I'm from Guernsey in the Channel Islands, and have joined the pedalling fraternity again after a spell on motorbikes. I bought a Specialized Sectuer around 3-4 years ago in the hope of getting out and losing a little (a lot) of weight but always managed to find a way of having something better to do.

Being an Avid Motocrosser i bought a White 801 in order to get out on coastal paths and that i managed to stick to over the summer.

My Girlfriend and i have been thinking about doing a Charity ride for a local Hospice and have planned a route in France for the trip. Basically St Malo to Le Mans, and back in a loop over 8 legs. I am now attending the gym and actually making the effort to get out on the bike now, so by the time the trip in August is here, ill be ready. Now i have found this site, i'll be reading a few of the threads in order to pick up tips to make cycling a little better.

Cheers
Anyon

:hello: How long would it take to cycle round Guernsey Anyon... that would be an achievement!

Never done it as a fastest time, but it can be easily done in a 2-3 hours at a leisurely pace.

Octet - We're already registered for the Rocque 2 Rock as part of the training and also raising money for Les Bourgs.
