Hi, I'm a new member on here, I've been a somewhat reluctant cyclist for 20+years, mainly because it involved cycling to work as the wife needed the car! I've only just recently rediscovered the joys of cycling through my 18yr old son, who recently completed LEJOG over 9 days in September this year with his mate. I acted as support vehicle for the 2nd half of the journey, and it opened my eyes to what cycling has got to offer. All of a sudden the 'slog' to work doesn't seem half bad, and I'm even toying with the idea of LEJOG myself, though over a more leisurely pace! I might try the less ambitious coast to coast along Hadrian's wall route first, but I see new horizons opening up for my cycling.
