I used to work in Leeds,1986 - 1997, near Tetleys, & rode home via Hunslet Road

The drag up from from Stourton roundabout wasn't much fun at 18:00 - 18:30, with the 3 lanes, & invariably the drivers in the left lane (Castleford/Woodlesford/etc..) wanted the right lane (M1 south) & I wanted the center lane (Wakefield)
Hence lots of swapping/changing - generally ignoring my presence

When I feel in the mood for a slightly lengthier ride home, I go via Sturton and up through lofthouse and Wakefield.

It's a nightmare on that roundabout!!!!

It's ever so slightly better now, with the roundabout near the top, & the traffic-lights at the junction with Wood Lane
That used to be a bad point, for 'left-hooking' (never hit myself, but had to go with cars a few times)
