Hi,

I'm Dale and I've just got back into cycling as I have registered to do a 350 mile charity bike ride in aid of Help for Heroes in May this year. The ride is through Northern France and over a week period. So if anyone has any suggestions on training for this event then please let me know.

Cheers:smile:

PS I used to do a lot of mountain biking but now have skinny tyres on my bike.

Hi

Great cause and good luck. I have no suggestions as I'm just started back myself.

Hi Dale, this is a good excuse to go out on your bike a lot in the name of research.
You'll need to see how your body copes with the miles, the cakes and the post ride refreshments.

Thanks for all the welcomes. Needless to say the bad weather has put a bit of a dampner on training at present and I have to rely on indoor training with the turbo trainer.

Just ride frequently once the weather picks up. Do you have the option of riding to work? good way of getting extra miles in if you are pushed for time at the weekends.
