Hi I've just got a road bike i did have a carrera mountain bike but lost 3 stone riding it so swapped it for a muddy fox and im loving it.mind you like an idiot I've only gone and signed up for London to Brighton next year 🙄
Anyway that's enough of boring you all

Do you mean 2027 or 2026 ? Either way, it should be no problem with the right training. I have done it twice, 2002 and 2009 and both times on a 10 speed steel bike. If you enjoy the ride rather than push too hard it will make it so much more enjoyable. Just watch out for Ditchling beacon !
