Hello from teesside

hi all iam steve from teesside thought i would join this forum and say a quick hello.ive been cycling for just over 2 years now it all started when a friend persuaded me to do the c2c whitehaven to sunderland,someone had dropped out so i had 10 days to train for it and i had not been on a bike for almost 20 yearsbut i got through it and i guess i caught the bug.i have a hybrid carrea subway nothing fancy but i really like it and its never given me any problems.also have a road bike but i am no light weight at over 17 stone so i stick to my hybrid for now,but have just bought a turbo trainer so the road bike has been converted to a exercise bike till i lose a few pounds.

this forum seems a really good 1 with plenty of members so looking forward to reading and hopefully getting plenty of tips.

As you say, lots of people on here with a wide range of cycling knowledge and experience, so don't be afraid to ask.

(Just don't record miles on your turbo as miles cycled)
