Hello everyone!

I just picked up some new bikes for myself and my two sons(10 and 11yo). We are pretty excited and just took our first little trip today, about 2 miles, to go play basketball, then back home.

I am looking forward to gaining some knowledge from the forum.

Hi there, Mike, I'm only 1,600 miles away from you (in Maryland) but moved here after living in Oklahoma for 25 years (Durant). Some of my lifetime favorite memories bikeriding were with my daughter when she was only around the age of your sons. One of our fave memories was when we were once just slowly riding along next to each other on an empty street in our quiet neighborhood, and we locked handlebars and BOTH went down! Only a few bumps and scratches, but memories of laughing our heads off to this day! Enjoy your rides. Make it a common thing... great for bonding. Come back and share your experiences.
