I live not that far from Lyme Regis. The beach to the left of the town is littered with shiphams jars from a landslide that many years ago had a dump in.

I recal one being something and tomato, and another was crab paste - yuk

I can't remember quite what Shiphams tasted like but I do remember the rather wonderful mould that would mysteriously appear overnight on the top of the paste once the jar had been opened.

I have no clue as to what quorn actually is made from.

Nah, Shiphams' mould was far too natural. Quorn escaped from a high security lab after some unauthorised experiments by demented scientists.
