After a chat , a friend of mine invested in one......

First day out he recorded an accident, administered First Aid and handed the recording to Police

One vehicle was hit by the car failing to stop at a "Stop line" hitting the car in front of him, and forcing this car into the path of an oncoming vehicle which was written off.

To the driver of the car that was hit, and the driver of the car that became an incidental victim he is a welcome provider of the evidence that proves they were innocent

However I am also sure that he is an interfering nosy busybody to the driver that failed to stop and then lied to Police when he claimed that the original driver had slowed and waved him across then accelerated into him as he pulled out of the junction

And if they have also recorded the incident, you and the police will look at the rest of recorded material. This will give you the police and court a good idea on the cyclists highway performance prier, to any incident and not just the bit involving you.
A friend of mine did exactly that, they not only won, the cyclist who also had a drivers licence, got endowments and a fine.
My friend also sued the cyclist which with this evidence and he very wisely settled out of court."

I agree that it most likely wasn't real, but what I was apparently failing to point out is that an "endorsement" and an "endowment" are not the same thing. Looks like I failed to illicit the correct response.
