Helmet foam pads.....where to get them at sensible prices ??

You are all sadly missing the point. You dont stick them inside the helmet. You tie, maybe 10 of them, together with those string bits and wear THEM instead of the helmet. I know, I know............if you want to take your sun-glasses off and wedge them it it might not be so good. But---you win some you lose some.

You'd certainly stay dry for longer than most.

But if you tried Tampax you'd be able to swim, ride a horse, go skydiving, caving, bog-snorkelling and a load of other sports in addition to cycling.

A postmodern pentahalon maybe.

This is true, but I think attaching tampons to the velcro might affect the comfort of the helmet, even the newfangled slim line super absorbent jobbies and the strings might get in the way

Attach corks to the strings and you have an added bug deterrent.

Well all these new fangle tange type helmets have lots of ventilation for air so my design (which I may well patent) is based on that thinking

Those prices are mor realistic.........still stupid prices for a bit of foam but spares are always on the high side.
