A postmodern pentahalon maybe. You'd certainly stay dry for longer than most.
But if you tried Tampax you'd be able to swim, ride a horse, go skydiving, caving, bog-snorkelling and a load of other sports in addition to cycling.
Attach corks to the strings and you have an added bug deterrent. This is true, but I think attaching tampons to the velcro might affect the comfort of the helmet, even the newfangled slim line super absorbent jobbies and the strings might get in the way![]()
Well all these new fangle tange type helmets have lots of ventilation for air so my design (which I may well patent) is based on that thinking10 tampons to make a helmet, you must have a really small head...Erm @Fnaar
I've got a Saros and got two sets from here. http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product/379/cg201352/giro-sarosathlon-helmet-pads.html

Ah yes.....er well...uhm.Oi, my first reply was sensible! You brought up sanitary towels not me!![]()
I suppose you could still go down the tampon route then! Thanks
At last a sensible reply (sorry @vickster )
Still a loat of money for what is essentially a few pieces of foam but spares are always expensive.
