Please BUY a helmet I had never owned one but I came off my bike on the ice this winter going to work I had a wooly hat on my head hit the ground with such force that the hat came off!
I walked into work pushing my bike and had a lump on my head the size of an egg I felt sick and dizzy and my wife had to collect me and take me home.
I always make my son wear his when we go out riding but I didnt even own one and was taught a painful and never to be repeated lesson.
