Help Front Delrailer

New to all this have a scott cr1 team 2009 shimano 105 derailer been out this evening and it seems to be stuck on the large front cog, what am I doing wrong?

can you give us a little more info.
Can you move the STI lever OK?
If it does move is there any movement with the dérailleur?

Hi thanks for the reply, as i was riding in the dark I wasn't sure if I was on the large or small cog, so I think I tried to shift the lever to get me onto the large cog too far the one that changes down still moves but doesnt seem to move the derailer.

are your cables tight enough?
adjustment screw?
ride in the daylight and see if that makes any difference

Need it for work in the morning had another look this evening, doesnt seem to want to change down I think it is knackered
