Help my butt plug has come out

Of the top section of my beach caster rod so could anybody on here recomend what sort of glue to use to glue it back and where would I get it from?

P.S. It's a carbon fibre rod and the plug is rubber.

Yes, but you have to be careful of water getting behind it, between the araldite and the surface it's attached to, by capillary action.

Otherwise - the glued together bit id stronger than the rest of the thing you've repaired.

Cyano Acrylate (CA) glue will do the job.

You can get it at hobby shops - it's used for finishing carbon edges on RC car chassis

Haven't done it in a while but I think I can still remember what to do (whipping that is ).

As far as I know, yes it is.

If it's the plug that goes into the male end of the spigot then you don't need it. I wouldn't bother glueing it back in.

Mark it came out and got stuck inside the bottom section (was a bugger to get back out again I tell yer) of the rod when I took the rod apart after a fishing session on a local beach. It acts as a form of friction gripper to stop the top section dropping into the butt section so is quite essensial.
