I watched a couple of those vids from the links posted.
Out with the tool kit and bike, within 10 mins I had the rear deralieur spot on. Then down came the rain so I had to put the bike away.
Will have a go on the front one then out for my first proper ride!

AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried to adjust the front mech but could not get it as tight as I wanted because it kept on clipping the crank on certain places.
I to the bike to my Local Bike Shop - the crank is bent and there is a slight buckle on the rear wheel!
Now I'm waiting for Halfords to ring me bike.
