Help required with Route.

Hi Guys and Girls;
A friend of mine is embarking on a charity cycle to raise funds for Cancer research .
He's not a cyclist or he wasn't a cyclist.
He's cycling from Erskine to Southampton. Looking for a suitable route for the first leg from Erskine to Ayr .

Erskine to Bridge of Weir, join the cycle track there then take it to Linwood take a right where it forks and head towards Lochwinnoch and just follow the track and sustrans signs from there will eventually take you to Ayr on a mixture of tarmac cycletrack and quiet roads

There are many route planners, I like this one as it plans the least aggressive route as an option
