As warned, I'm back.

Further to my recent posts I have now picked up the other bike I mentioned.
It's a Ridgeback Horizon World.
In very clean and shiny condition.
Struggling to find a comparison for sale to get a value.
Any help on where to pitch it would be greatly appreciated.

Also was asked to take a stack of tyres, 8ish I think, most look used.
Are they tip fodder or do they have a value ?

Many thanks.

None of the above is much use without photos really. What size is the bike etc.

There are folk far more learned than I here but I am not sure the forks are original. I'd just recycle the tyres myself. Looks tidy, what does it ride like, does everything work? All that being well I'd think hundred or so maybe. I would also want to know it was not nicked.

It's in really good nick, a couple of tiny scuffs.
I'm no expert but I rode it round the block and seemed good to me, gears and brakes seemed to work as they should.

It's not nicked.
As per my previous post regarding identifying the bad boy 3, these 3 bikes including the Dawes Back Streets belonged to my step fathers cousin who passed away a few weeks ago and I have been tasked with disposing of them for him. (My step father is approaching 80 and not particularly tech savvy).

We're still in the process of clearing the house so I'm hoping to find some paperwork.

It's an Aluminium frame so not worth much depends on the state of the components, the one @Cycleops linked to is the far superior Steel framed version which is very collectable and should last a lifetime.
Yeah, just checked it out, looks like far superior running gear on that one.

All I could find out is that it about £700 when new in 2010.
I was thinking maybe £200, considering the good condition.

I should put it on for maybe a hundred more and be prepared to come down.
The price of bikes has soared during the pandemic and new prices have risen, you might be surprised.

Its the absence of lugs that the tubes would fit into on a steel bike plus the ‘bird poo’ welding at the joins.

I don't think it needs any work, as previously mentioned he was a very fastidious man and inthinknthis was the bike he was using up until recently.

Taking all the advice, I think I'll pitch it at £250 and be prepared to take something around the 200 mark.

Thanks again for all your knowledge and help.
