Help with specification of some wheels please

Mate at work has offered me some 650 b wheels off his old MTB but im not sure of the spec and hes not to sure either.
The bike is a whyte 900 series 2016 , he recokons it was worth £2500 new and wants £75 for the wheels.
I have worked out that the front has 180 mm disc but i have no idea if they are 6 bolt or centre lock or thu axle or what
Has anyone any more information on the bike please ?
The wheels are for my subway so i need normal QR axles .

surely a photo will tell you whether they are QR or not?
and 6 bolt or c lock

I've just had a look on the web there's a 901 series that was around £1200 a 905 £1600 and the 909 around the £2200 price range do you know which one your work mates was?

They all look like thruaxles on the front, no good then .
He did say they had hope hubs which the top spec has

If they are Hope hubs, they can be converted to QR quite easily

sounds like a lot of bother when its for the winter commuter when i can get brand new set for not much more that i know will fit.
