Hi all I am mart and i am new to cycling and I am very overweight I have brought a second hand road bike a barracuda azzurri that I have converted to a flat bar as its more comfortable for me ok so the thing is I am worried about actually riding it now as the wheels are thin and worried they my not hold my waight (700x23) is the biggest tyre I could fit in the frame and also I haven't cycled on the road since childhood and I used to love cycling all my previous bikes have been mountain bikes I live in the south west so there is loads of country side that I feel I am missing out on any advice would be really appreciated thanks in advance every one
Get on that bike and cycle even if its to the end of the road, but the next day go round the corner and see whats there.
