Hi working today or I would have ^_^, sounds like good rides, would prob join you thursday night if you go, what sort of speeds do you do, wouldnt want to be a drag.. :bicycle:

200+ is that normal for the weekly parkrun or was a event on??
Yes, 200+ runners is a regular occurance now!!!!

It's; once round the Lake - full lap of the Race-Course (on camera car track) - another lap of the :Lake
http://www.parkrun.org.uk/pontefract/course/

Eg;
Todays event (# '137') saw 269
Sat 4th (# '136') = 238
Wed 1st Jan (# '135') = 223
Sat 28th (# '134') = 207)

I ran the very first one (7th May 2011 @ 5th/42) when it was a trial to check the course

And where did you get to on the bike??
Not far at all, just into Wakefield, to buy some new road-running shoes from 'Up & Running', then just a short potter back round Denby Dale Road, Calder Grove, Crigglestone, Painthorpe, round the back of NewMIllerDam, & home via Agbrigg & Heath Common.

Far enough, as I'd not had breakfast before the run, & was almost straight back out on bike

I would have been interested too, when on either early-turns, or when Days-Off fall on Thursdays, however it's club-runs/training nights commencing @ 19:00 on Tuesday & Thursdays

Tomorrow, I might be out & about in the late morning - not '100% certain yet'

If I do, it'll probably be (roughly) via;
Castleford > Barnsdale Road > 'Allerton crossroads' > Mary Pannall > Peckfield Bar > Aberford > Lotherton Hall > Saxton > Sherburn-in-Elmet
Cuppa tea here; http://www.squires-cafe.co.uk/index.asp

Then back via; South Milford > Hillam (possibly???), Brotherton > FerryBridge > Glasshoughton

Edit @ 11:02
Towton, changed to Saxton
