As per my avatar I take a fairly relaxed approach to cycling. I have a Rose gravel bike mainly used on the road, the original setup was Shimano 105 11-32 cassette & 50-34 compact chain ring. The cassette is now an 11-40 with a medium cage RD & works well. My question is probably a common one for an older cyclist, could I change either chain ring (BCD/PCD 110mm 4 bolt) to make hills a bit easier to climb?
