As the 'Hit the Downs' off-road event, also taking place on sunday, for one of my local charities, starts at 07.00, I shall not be participating at any time. This leaves me free to join up at some stage around Handcross or points south. Hoping it remains fine and without a forceful westerly.

I've been 'volunteered' to help the inlaws pack for moving house. So that is Plan A.

Plan B is very unlikely but if I can swing it would ride 20 miles to Crawley and meet at Affogato before proceeding south.

Hopefully, but don't wait for me. Plan A is East Croydon. Plan B is head you off on the A23 as I go north. Plan C is meet at Crawley. But there's a chance none of these will come to fruition.
