Personally I'd say shop him.

The way I see it next time it might not be me he hits, it might be my wife and 4 month old son. Drink driving is not acceptable AT ALL. However it's worth noting at this point that whether he had had a drink or not is all pure speculation. Glad it was only the wheel that was damaged.

TBH i cant be bothered. I'm not a vindictive bloke. He was OK gave me £100 i'm quids in.

Too many of the people on here look at it as a them and us thing. I dont.

He may have been drunk but he gave me £100 and said sorry. Let it be!!!

Don't tell anyone where this happened or they'll all be over there with rickety old bikes waiting to get hit...
