Each to their own. I thought it was enchanting.
Did you not think the acting was a bit wooden, and parts looked like they were filmed with a camcorder?

It was billed as a live performance but I can't see how it was genuinely live with all those outdoor scenes.

Mrs Stephec went to the Lowry on Saturday to watch it there, and apparently the singing on stage was a lot better, but then they were mostly opera trained.

It was genuinely filmed and broadcast completely live. It was all in a studio. Mr K. was transmitting it. Very stressful with so many live breaks. He's not up yet, I'll be asking him more about it later.

The outdoor scenes looked real, was everything done at media city?

Would have been good if the BBC could have remembered to mention Chris Froome also won the Criterium du Dauphine this year as well!

It's a general purpose pen pic for a diverse range of sports fans, not the UCI dinner dance.

I'm sure the others all won competitions of merit and interest to their own sports as well as the headline grabber events that tend to impinge on the awareness of non fans.

Andy Murray won the Davis Cup & is No2 in the world according to SPOTY but I couldn't tell you a single other thing about his year or the achievements that got him that high.

I've never heard of the guy who came second:ohmy:.
I could have Googled but thought, why bother?
I actually wanted him to win as he's a legend in RL. However I was really surprised he got as many votes as he did considering his main voter base would be Lancashire and Yorkshire. That he came second is probably an indictment of the rest of the field.

Agree on quite a sparse and samey field. Also possibly the wider sky TV watching rugby community rallying round after being so overlooked for so long.

He's a local lad to me and has come to speaknat our secondary school, an all round nice guy.
