Holding your breath

Not as long as I thought. I managed about a minute (plus 15 seconds if you count breathing out slowly).

I was always good at holding my breath. Hadn't done it in years till this thread intrigued me, and I thought I wonder if I can still do it after losing 2/3 of a lung. 2.20. Guess I'm still good at holding my breath.

I once held my breath until I didn't have hiccups..

When I was 16, In could swim the length of Leeds Olympic Pool underwater (from a dive in). I don't think I could manage half a 25m pool now. I like air too much.

i also feel bored and want to hold my breath when i watch football ! load of overpaid blokes who go round slobbering over each other when they do their job - its like my mate kissing me if i lay a good brick !! whats wrong with a firm handshake

Hyperventilate befire hand until you are almost dizzy. I can mange nearly 3 minutes this way.
