Mine (Loire valley cycle tour) might be scuppered by health and/or weather. I was planning to head away Easter Monday and the forecast for next week is solid rain. I'm hopeful at this stage rather than 'all systems go'.

I asked AI to show the 'real' me.
I always wondered where those people who turned right went.

And I remember when Dubai was a bit of dump.

It's soon to be a Trump Dump. Emirates videos had adverts for the new exclusively bigly Trump Tower coming there. Knew someone that had lived in Dubai for decades and declared it was full of shady characters and chancers. But they stayed as the money was good. Not so much now.

Still not booked anywhere, usually by this time we'd have been away twice. Wife getting edgy now, I'm getting constant hints about it.
Don't want to leave too long to go as it'll get too hot for the mountains.

Been to Tenerife already this year. And doing 10 days in 3 locations in Turkey in June.

Last night we have booked a week in Alicante in September. And the latest thought is going to New York for Christmas again. I may even squeeze in a (My first) cycling Holiday too…..

Travel is my utmost passion. I work ridiculously hard. And while I’m solvent enough and fit enough to enjoy - I shall cram in what I can 😁

I worked offshore for 15 years in GoM(or is it GoA these days) and far east so for years after I got sick of travel. After being paid to go all over the world and spending a lot of time on aircraft it got very tiresome. Short haul is OK but 12hrs + on a plane is great first couple times but after you've done it 20 times it's like a very long bus ride!
