Honking on yer Brompton - can you, do you?

This comes from another thread where I mentioned that honking on a Brompton is nigh-on impossible. I was it seems soon put right by those who do and can. So I had another go when out this morning and whilst I can do it just about, it doesn't feel natural, advantageous or 'safe' , whereas honking a regular bikes is second nature to me. I don't think I'm alone in this so I thought I'd see how others fare.
I'll keep trying ....

I can get it rolling along at a decent lick but I don't do honking on it.

I have honked on rhubarb the brommie.
I no longer do so.
I found it largely counter productive.

I still maintain it largely comes down to how flexy your Brompton is. I couldn't on my M type with normal suspension block. I cannot NOT honk on my S type with the firm block.

I have done it when surprised by a short, sharp one (as they say), but not normally. I do have a friend who can ride one no-hands quite easily. 'My' Brompton is actually my other half's, so I don't get to practice that much.

I've seen a number of people successfully and easily do a lot of honking up hills on Bromptons, most recently @CharlieB in the early hours of this morning.
