I could run the touring section! I'd love to do that! I may have some free time next year so that could work.

Auntie Helen said:Well I'm happy to volunteer for the proofing/editing as required, seeing as that's my job and I've got plenty of spare time. If no-one else wants to typeset it then I can do that too.
A suggestion is to ask everyone to give a critical review of their own bike (maybe kit etc as well later), preferably based on a points/10 system for all the various features of 'a bike' - equipment, comfort, task suitability etc.Arch said:Thinking about reviews - either you need to get stuff sent - for which you need the supplier to trust you to send it back, and therefore perhaps you need a certain reputation, or you need contributors to buy new kit and review it - so you might end up with fairly frequent reviews of new £20 lights, but reviews of bikes are going to be rarer. And I can't remember the last bike related thing I bought new. Oh, yes I can, a £1 hi-vis ankle band from the pound shop... (Happy to review it if anyone wants me too)
Anyway, my point is that reviews might have to take second place to things we can definitely 'get hold of' - touring reports, route ideas, bike building projects, tips, knowhow, history () etc... Plus any odds and ends deemed suitable by the editor/editorial panel...
