How about a colour changing carbon bike.

It sounds mad at the thought of you being able to change the colour of your bike at the press of a button, but that's what I've just read on the Cycling Weekly website. Apparently a company called Hope ,have developed a resin that can be impregnated into the carbon weave and at a press of a button will change the colour of your bike. Not everyone's cup of tea granted, but it would look very cool for the fashion conscious :-) :-)

Citroen developed a liquid crystal paint system that changed colour with voltage applied through it. That was 15 years ago, and no one bought it then, not sure they will now.

It would be interesting to see it on a bike. On another thought ,imagine if the bike got stolen. It would be a tricky question answering to the powers that be, as to what colour it was ,or is. :-) :-)

Yep got a mate in our cycling club with one of those. Rarely changes colour in UK temps to be honest though unless left static in full sun!
