I think it's because there is a general attitude problem in this country.Perhaps if they had traffic cops with guns then perhaps it would calm it down a bit.

Only if the cops are everywhere, and ready to pounce. Until someone gets caught, I think they just think "I'm alright...." (and even after they get caught, sometimes).

It's a shame isn't it, that we have to wonder if the fear of armed traffic cops would be more effective than common sense/respect for other people's lives.

Well I wonder why people have different attitudes in different countries where the driving is less agressive and people aren't is such a bloody hurry.
In Thailand it didn't seem like they would run me over if I didn't get out of the way.

I notice America and Thailand have guns and I actually saw a Thailand motorcycle cop pull up a 4x4 but I don't actually know why.I very rarely see that here.

Well we need more traffic cops.It's almost anarchy out there and total disregard for other people.

That was close You've probably already said but what camera have you got EMD? If its anything like my ATC5K it wasn't actually that dark. Its because of idiots like that I like to commute on my heavy wide tyred hybrid, it brakes better rather than my more enjoyable road bike. You done well to stop in time and control it.

Small and Mini RABs are swine on a bike. There's one local to me (Kaipaith and jay clock will know it - where Stockbridge Road meets Bereweeke Av) where my default is to assume I'm totally invisible I've been sliced and diced so many times on it.

Right about the sixth sense though - I bet you were covering your brakes well before he arrived at the RAB.

Mini rabs are like most traffic calming things they work well to slow down the general driver who would hopefully be driving considerately but they fail to impede the idiots; in fact they often make things worse.
