How did this get through an MOT?

I don't think I've ever had a car that didn't get an advisory for rust on the brake pipes. Funny that, no matter how long you keep them it never becomes more than an advisory.

I have seen quite a few brake pipes rusted through. Some on cars being driven daily. I must add it seems odd that anybody would take 3 years of advisories on brake pipes and not change them, but that is motorist for you.

I think it would be a good idea to double the time allowed for an MOT and also double the price for the job. This and allow some removal of parts to allow for further inspection.
